ACTIVATION DESCRIPTION
This was our second year at Sol Fest Music and Arts Festival as a collective and our first time presenting the Deliberate Creation station by Art in Session Inc. We added additional seating to the DCS and full programming of creative and wellness workshops. Patrons were able to listen to lectures, enjoy sound healing, yoga, guided meditations and more. In addition to the workshop and lounge space, we provided a 40 ft Mural Dome where 8 featured artists painted 8’ x 12’ ft murals live at the event. Our installations were colorful, interactive, and an integral part of the growing art program at Sol Fest.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
The education component we added to the Deliberate Creation Station for the first time at Sol Fest was a huge hit. It became a platform for artists to discover their desire to teach and share, and a place for patrons to discover their own creativity and passion for wellness practices.
Sol Fest was the beginning of our team realizing our own potential as a collective and the importance of building systems around our endeavors that will cultivate efficiency and productivity for our current members and future collaborators.
